(Okay, I know there's a pics and vids section just below the band discussion, I just thought I'd put this here for more views.. lolol. Move this if you want to, mods, it won't hurt my feelings any.)
Alrighty, I'm here in the United States like the horrible person I am and Overworld releases tomorrow and nobody has to tell me I'm excited for it, despite the fact that I've already downloaded it. I always get excited for album launches, I don't know why, especially when they're by the bands that I actually love to listen to (i.e., Machinae Supremacy!). But that's not the point of this thread, while it still is a big point of this thread, it isn't the main one I'm getting to. What I'm getting to is a video, a fan video. A music video made by the fans, from the fans, to the fans, and so that the band can laugh at us doing ridiculous stuff. The video would be comprised of a song on Overworld (duh) and the videos will be taken of us by us, or groups of people related to us, and I'll put them in the video in relation to the song, with the song being the only thing that we can hear, because I don't think any of us wants to hear someone step on the cat in the background.
I've been part of something similar to this with Powerman 5000, except it wasn't a new cd launch, that happened in 2006. The video I took part in was around a year before it happened to a song they released titled Heroes and Villains, and practically everyone who was on the message board at the time took part of it. So this is a suggestion to those who are interested and those who are not interested. Anyone up for this idea? I directed one by myself a few months ago (PM5K, not MaSu) and it wasn't as enjoyable with myself as I speculated, I just guess having multiple people send in clips and then putting it together would rock. We've practically got a whole album to choose from and I'll give it a few days before everyone makes the decision on what song we'll use for the vid. So get thinking!
Here's a track listing on the album, I'll keep count of what people suggest to me in this thread or in PM and I'll try and update twice daily, the one with the most counts gets it. Edge and Pearl already has a music video, so it won't be included.
