In The Groove (ITG) - MaSu songs!

In The Groove is a new Dance Dance Revolution game (kit actually) that is beta testing its sequel, ITG2, in Amreican arcades. www.itgfreak.com

MaSu have songs in this game!

Seen in ITG: Bouff, Hybrid (both sooo rockin')

Seen in the ITG2 Beta: Cryosleep

I have to wonder if there is a connection between this and the popularity of "The Great Giana Sisters" in the DDR home simulation community (Dance With Intensity and Step Mania)

Can anyone confirm any more MaSu songs in ITG? Also, I haven't played the game or heard the song in the game, but I'm guessing that it must have been edited down to closer to 2 minutes.

If only Roxorgames would have called me to write steps for them, I would have quit my Game Design job!

I'd also be interested to hear the story behind working with Roxorgames. How did they contact the band? Was there any collaboration on step writing, song editing or song choice? Will TGGS ever see Arcade or home console action?

Heh, I've known of this for quite some time. My local arcade got an ITG, and they only had it for a week until they sent it back, the dipshits. That was the most popular thing in the entire place. It was getting constant non-stop action. (heh)

Thats it the next time I see a DDR mat for the PSX I shall purchase it. I'll use my home made psx-lpt converter and use it on the computer. I have gone without playing DDR for so long, I must find out why it is so good.

Played ITG for PS2 at E3! LOL!

I tried the 7-foot Standard steps for Bouff as my first song. Yow. I'm old and out of shape.

The majority of ITG songs are much longer in length (probably double) than DDR songs.

I also played the Standard step set for Hybrid (damn low volume) as well.

*golf clap* for the step makers Plaguefox and KeeL. Kudos for Machinae for working with roxor.

We now have ITG2 at our mall, dialupdaemon and I checked it out a few days ago. I'm actually kinda disappointed, as Machinae's music isn't really the type you dance to...except for maybe Steve's Quest....

I don't think there is a single ITG machine in Australia, we only have one DDR machine... (a really old one, still fun though) and just the other day I found the only two F-Zero AX machines in the whole of fucking Sydney.

yah, so this one time this person bumped this year old thread...

anyway, never been able to play ITG2, but own ITG for home, and played ITG arcade a good deal. ITG3 is coming out soon, DDR Supernova is testing in places (no MaSu), PIU Zero came out (No MaSu), and ITG2 home is coming out (Cryosleep)

anyway, Bouff, Hybrid, and Cryosleep are too easy.

ITG has been in our arcade for about 2 years now, we got in ITG2 last july, I've been playing ITG/DDR/PIU/BEMANI for about 6 years now, yay

What will Machinae give us in ITG3 if any? *hopefully*

Whatever it is, I hope it's an expert 12-13 I want more of a challenge then the ungodly easy songs which are in 1 & 2
