Machinae music used in movie
« on: December 19, 2004, 11:58:25 am »
Some friends and I threw together a GTA spoof that takes place in El Dorado County, aka the middle of fucking nowhere.  It has a couple Machinae songs in it and one Masugn.  Good stuff.

Grand Theft Auto: El Dorado County

Edit: Better link now, should have unlimited bandwidth.

I'm actually in the movie...  My cell phone gets taken.

I like the video.  Especially the rocket-view.  I'm interested in how you did that, actually.

Speaking of Machinae in videos, though, I've got a Macbeth video that my friend made for an English class once...  He asked me what music to use, so all of it's my doing.  There's only one Machinae song in it, but nonetheless, here:

http://www.fonguild.com/Macbeth.wmv

The songs in order are:
Dropkick Murphys - Cadace To Arms
Machinae Supremacy - Bouff
Giles Roy - Fuck The Moonlight
Catch 22 - Riding The Fourth Wave

(Sorry if I sound like I'm stealing your thunder, feels like the place to bring this up :P)

machinae supremacy music videos contest 2 anyone?

edit: If such a contest comes into being I have an idea which I call to be mine! Which would be a half-life 2 jamming to "soundtrack to the rebellion"....its perfect!

I think they should make a song called Jamming. I'd imagine it to be a song like Chuck rock and a mix of cryosleep.

Bringing this thread back to life, cause I forgot about it until just now.

Xeero: The rocket-cam thingy was done by a friend of mine.  I don't remember the program he used, but it was used for most of the editing.  I like the bit where the cardboard tube fires the rocket.  Looks pretty convincing...  I'll have to ask him how he did that.

Also, someone should make a Half-Life 2 video using Soundtrack to the Rebellion.  Maybe a video contest is in order.
