Huh Strange? Copy of steyn? :D
« on: October 02, 2003, 05:08:33 pm »
Today I bought the latest (and only) album of Lordi . The Music is very cool so far - and why else should I buy a CD making me spend mere 20 €? :D

back to Topic. The Frontman of Lordi and Machinae couldn't be more different *at least from the Pictures* - but when I heard the Song Hellbender Turbulence and Last Kiss Good Bye I had a Deja Vu. What was steyn doing in this song? Those characteristic Vocs and SFX-Modulation. Waaaaaah! Help me! I'm so confused! I know it can't be him - jet they sound so similar.

Use this thread for whatever - punish me if you like.
Lordi IS cool though... of course not as cool as Machinae. ;D  8)

Lordi sucks :X (My opinion)

Instead, I'd like to tip W. to listen to some of these:

Stratovarius
Sonata Arctica ("cockheavy" says my friend :P) (Kikkelihevi)
Nightwish (PWN. Mixed opera and metal \,,/,__((>.<))__,\,,/  )

Uuh... pie?

Nightwish are good but Sonata arctica are laughable in my opinion...their music is decent, (nothing too inspired mind you) but their lyrics, especially compined with the power metal vocal style are damn silly

Eläkeläiset...Good for a few laughs.
A universe where there was no War of Independence because British colonial policy was more enlightened. An American Civil War after which Lincoln wasn't assassinated. A Second World War in which Hitler was. Or where the whole planet was invaded by, I don't know, space lizards or something.

Lordi's singles were good. The album was a dissapointment so I didn't buy it.. It's already one year old CD..

Lordi's CD was major disappointment for me. It was protected CD. And because I swore I'll NEVER, EVER buy protected CD I still have not bought it. Which is shame, because that CD is really good. I would have bought it but what the hell I'm going to do with it? Only place where I can listen it is my PC and it won't probably work here. So - Lordi lost one SURE customer this way. Most of shit that comes in protected CD's are not worth of buying anyway but when CD that is really good and it is protected it really hurts. Good thing that Ventures' CD's are always non-protected. I've bought every CD I've been able to find.
