Post by: Ant on April 24, 2009, 08:24:07 pm
Here are a few of my initial reactions to it:

-'what an unbelievably large load of shit'

-'FUCK BILL, WHAT A CUNT'

-'I HAVE 1337 UNREAD EMAILS, NOT 99+'

-'WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT'

-'WHAT THE FUXK'

-'FFS'

-'how the fffuuuuck do i change window colour'

-'jesus fuck!'

-'this new msn is shittier than my arse hole after a few spicy meals'

-'seriously wtf "I GOT A GREAT IDEA... INSTEAD OF HAVING THE DISPLAY PICS ON THE RIGHT... WE'LL PUT THEM.... ON THE LEFTT!!!!!! OMGO MG OWOWOWOW!!!!! !rr " "g "£$t£ $y£"'

All quotes from yours truly.

protip: use a lightweight 3rd party client instead, like pidgin.

Pidgin +1

Live Messenger is a trainwreck. Too bad it's so well used.

Ach, Pidgin. It's good. I use it too. Must use some other software for webcamfun though and transfering files can be slow sometimes but otherwise Pidgin is the only client you really need.

I shall think on this, just so used to using MSN. You don't correct a dog by giving it attention I guess.

I'm annoyed by all the people who use 3rd party software, they can't receive SHIT on their stuff and always i have to find alternatives for the media to get across. Fuck that.

Hey, it's not our fault MSN uses such a shitty file transfer protocol that only M'soft themselves can use it with any degree of success. ;)

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere in the code base for the protocol there's something along the lines of:

Code: [Select]
if(thirdPartyClient.isUsed())
{
   fuckShitUp();

   }

I know that they regularly change the sign in protocol for Hotmail to prevent fluent signing in from 3rd party softwares. Well... Atleast I get notification for incoming mails and get link to sign-in page and my user id is ready on it's place so all I have to do is type password. Which is actually good because otherwise I could forget whole password...

Well, file transfers in ICQ work well in Pidgin, in my experience. (I have most people twice, in ICQ and MSN so I can share files via ICQ :D)

The reason I use Pidgin is because on my Windows 7 install (I did install it after all.), Internet Explorer is, just like fucking usual, fucked up beyond help. AND THUS, I can't login using the regular client, because the fucking brilliant people over at Microsoft decided to rely too heavily on Internet Explorer.

And Internet Explorer fucked up, Live Messenger fucks up, hurf durf.

Yeah, well, if there weren't people using that proprietary Microsoft shit, we wouldn't have that problem either.
But in times of rabbitshare etc., that is not a major issue.

Yes, I like the duck :)
On other news, I never used a Mac, but I saw Crazywater using it on his Macbook.
