Title: I hope it isn't too late...
Post by: Ghostek on October 02, 2007, 11:44:35 pm
... but I'd like to introduce myself. I seem to have missed this board before I wrote my first post here - but please, don't think that's just because I'm too stupid to at least have a good look at a forum before I post because it may be not too far from truth actually ;) but I personally think it's just pure laziness ;).
So, how did I get into this forum? Well, like (probably) most of Polish forumites I found out about MaSu becuse of our gaming magazine CD-Action which gave a full version of Jets'n'Guns on their cover CD. As I wrote in one thread, when I played the game I found the music awesome so I quickly visited the site to download more of it... I loved it too and that's how it all started. Then the most logical thing to do was to find the forum to meet (at least through the internet) other fans of MaSu, so I I'm here ;) well, the last step took me a bit long but don't tell anybody ;)
And as a last thing - as you can see, English's not my native language so I apologize for any errors I may make - I learn English for like 8 years but just in case... ;) but don't show my posts to my English teacher, I beg you :D

p.s By the way... I know it's rather not the best place to ask, but I was always wondering: why 'Machinae Supremacy' is abbreviated to MaSu instead of just MS? Is that because the former makes bad connections? (well, it would be M$ then ;))

I guess that's basically it. (Poza tym, kto tam chciałby być kojarzony z Microshitem... :P)

Welcome and enjoy your stay - you know you will...

Czesc! (I haven't checked this word up yet, so I apologise if I just swore).

Speaking as a trainee English teacher, your English is more than fine. If you don't like MaSu, Machinae is also acceptable - it's what I used until recently. But yeah, MS=bad so we don't make that mistake here.

Well, some kind of inner voice makes me think that I don't want to know what this Love ButterTM is made of ;)

Poza tym, kto tam chciałby być kojarzony z Microshitem... :P
Tak też myślałem ;)

Czesc! (I haven't checked this word up yet, so I apologise if I just swore).
Against all evidence, not every Polish word that we use amongst non-Polish speakers is some kind of profanity ;)but quite a few of them are ;)
