Title: Jamie Kane: Single-player ARG?
Post by: Turtle on August 10, 2005, 10:46:54 am
This is interesting. The BBC have created a sort of alternate reality game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternate_reality_game), similar to I Love Bees (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_love_bees). Although not nearly as mysterious as previous ARGs, it still looks fun. Without an actual community to help you out I'm sure the puzzles will be a great deal simpler than those in other similar games, but I dunno. It could still work.

Sign up here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/jamiekane/) if you're interested. They say it takes about 15 days to play it. I just finished day 3, and stuff's starting to happen. Wee.

The bots are actually pretty well made. I haven't tested them too much but from what I've heard so far they respond to anything pretty well.
