Perhaps a bit early to start planning a crew considering the game won't even be in beta until late next year probably but, oh well.
For anyone interested in playing STO when it it goes into beta/retail, all positions are currently open aside from Chief Tactical/Security and Engineering officers. Well, and Captain, thats me. :P

Hmm. I hope I can stay out of other MMOs long enough to try STO. If I survive the onslaught of Auto Assault, Tabula Rasa, and Hero's Journey, I'll join your crew. Anything in engineering will do.

I wish. Instead, I'll have to settle with using telepathy to control the developers. ;)

Considering they [Perpetual] are only in pre-production as of e3 and probably still are, I don't think you'll have to worry about it competing with those games' release dates.

Huzzah. Unless one of the aforementioned games ends up consuming my life completely, to the point that no one can drag me away from it, no matter what. The only one I can see possibly doing that would be Hero's Journey, but it is possible that the novelty of throwing halflings at monsters will wear off. Possible, at least.
After reading the STO site, I think something in medical would be a better position on the ship for me.
