Gaming Monthly: November
« on: November 01, 2004, 11:24:59 am »
Technically November for me.  Yay for staying up too late before school in the morning.

So, I've been playing Halo 1 a bit.  Had a fun 16-player party on Halloween.  Also looks like "I Love Bees" is facing endgame, so...  Getting horribly excited over Halo 2.
Also been glaring at my Steam icon a lot wishing it would release HL2 from it's evil grasp.

I might also be getting into Dungeons and Dragons...  O_o
Probably makes me sound like a huge nerd.  Yay!
But I found out a lot of my friends play it, and I've only played PC versions based on the actual game, so a more community-oriented tabletop version might be fun.

Indeed it is.  I wish I had the time/money for it.  I'll buy it in a few months when it gets cheaper.

Side note: Someone keeps giving me - Karma.  Somebody out there hates me for some reason :'(

I barely game anything these days, just saving my strength for Half-life 2 and all the other great titles that's coming this month. I've also begun modelling for a game-mod for Half-life 2, can't wait for the source engine SDK.

How about you guys? any game/mod-developers out there?

The utter seriousness of our Command and Conquer-based D20 Modern campaign started to pall, so we all ganged up on one of our teammates and broke her arms.

Our GM is completely without a sense of humor, so now we have to roleplay through a trial XD

I'm playing a lot of Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games of late. Decided I'd finally get through the game once and for all (I started playing 6 years ago, after all).

Also, Hi-Octane has been dug out from the archives, and I'm playing through The Ur-Quan Masters again.

On a more modern note, Soul Calibur II is still outstanting fun 13 months later.

V-Man: Warzone (http://hlwarzone.hl2files.com/) is coming along nicely.  We could use more modelers if you're interested ;)

Also, Hi-Octane has been dug out from the archives,

I tried to play that not so long ago, problem is it ran way too fast. Obviously an XP thing but do you know a way to solve it?

Meanwhile, I've working on Temple Of Elemental Evil and Myst 4. Oh, and my usual dose of Discworld MUD.

Ahh, the usual this month.... SimCity4, Civ3, NFS:U

And I admit to being a D&D player. So it's okay Turtle. Although I'm not an intense one like some people can be. I'm usually the Dungeon Master - I like being in control ;D 8)

Ooh, Myst 4 finally came out, didn't it.
I didn't really like Uru, but 4 looks similar to the older ones I fell in love with.  Must buy soon.
