Title: To Gordon:
Post by: MDX on May 12, 2005, 01:21:30 pm
Gordon man, i dont know why i never asked this before, but what equipment do you use? I mean, could you give me a full spec of your synthy line up? From keyboards to modulators, to .. spare white keys you keep in your pocket? :P I'd really appreciate it if you could lemme know.

Im trying to source out what my new keyboard buy is going to be, i fucked up when i bought the Roland Juno-D, i read up on it, it got fucking terribly reviews, *meh* it works fine for me when i work hard enough with it it can work GREAT for me, but i want something like a KORG Trinity or Triton Extreme, gimme your specs and recommendations, if you have any. Specs or Recommendations from anybody else would r0ck too, keyboard stuff only thanks, no axe specs.

Linky to other thread? (Lazy)

Nevermind, came across it already:

Gordon is out of town atm...

But he uses two Yamaha's basically, CS6x and CS2x.
The sidstation we only use for studio purposes. It's too fragile to use
for live events, so we sample and copy stuff over to the 6x that we need
for performing.

Huhu... Yeah, me and booth go screamaloonie.

guess there isnt too many keyboardists on the forum... Neoblaze might be able to tell you a thing or two if he ever passes through again

I've been thinking of learning to play something, so far I have been leaning towards keyboards. I dunno though, its alot of money for the equipment. :\

Oh, man.
And here I am, stuck with an old Yamaha PSR-150.
And I only use that mainly for the drum pads. The way it's set up is so convenient. The two double bass settings and the snare setting are right by each other, so it's awesome.
BTW, does anyone have any idea how expensive these KORG keyboards are? I keep hearing about how good they are, and I'm planning on getting one.

very expensive, non-second hand onesss i mean new ones range from 1,000 upwards. But worth it, kinda.. i guess, theyre the best IMO, ive played the triton extreme and trinity, and theyre both intensely awesome.

I own a Roland Juno-D, which tbh.. i could do with selling and getting a better synth, but not right away, its not terrible, but i dream of KORG 8)
