Rocket Dragon (Radio Edit)
« on: May 20, 2013, 06:24:12 am »
So, this has been bothering me for some time.
On the compilation CD "The Beat of Our Decay" is the song Rocket Dragon (Radio Edit). The difference between the radio edit and the original is the removal of a couple seconds of silence as well as the removal of the guitar solo. The Beat of Our Decay was released to be a promotional compilation of the band's music while under the Spinefarm label. So why on earth would you remove one of the most impressive solos ever written by Machinae Supremacy on a CD whose sole purpose is promoting how awesome you guys are???

I think that was done for that album just to provide that song as an alternative to the original. The original is still available on the actual album, but that compilation got the alternative version (which was made in case it would ever be a video, which might also be good for radio play in britain perhaps, etc).

It's my job to keep SID elite.
