Title says it all, comic books!

Who reads them? Who collects them? Are you following a series or do you buy volumes once a series has ended?

Myself, I'm really into the Star Wars comics and Batman. Currently looking into Firefly (from the tv-series).

I've never really got into any comic book series for some reason. I do have a hardcover of Watchmen because, well, you kinda have to. It's a classic. (plus it's really good)

And also I bought the 15th Anniversary Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum since it's art is just proper gorgeous.

How's the story of Arkham Asylum?

Grant Morrison is a long-time Batman/DC comics writer.

And yeah, Watchmen is awesome.  8)

I don't really have a point of reference since I haven't read that many comic books. I'm not really sure what to say about it except it's really dark as hell and definitely doesn't seem like a traditional story. I enjoyed it a lot.

Some random favs are Sin City, Akira, Dragonball, Lone Wolf and Cub, lots of manga.
Currently I'm reading through everything Deadpool.

I'm not collecting or anything but love to pick up some comic books once in a while. Especially when I'm going on a trip that involves busses or trains.

Ah yes, comic books are excellent when riding the train etc.

@Caranfin: Too bad, Batman is one of the characters whose enjoyed many fantastic comics. If you're willing to try something out, I suggest Year One, Killing Joke and The Black Mirror. A new series has started with Court of Owls (best Batman in 2010/2011/2012). And if you want try something different, the story in Flashpoint: Featuring Batman has a bizarre plottwist. Love it.
