Hahahaha, yeah. But the feeling of accomplishment you get after finally beating it on HARD and above is worth it. I think that level is kinda fun as a break from shooting everything in sight.

Never beaten the game six times on one save, so I can't tell if it gets much worse. I think I only got three full playthroughs on one save, just to get the SpaceHog ship.

Was it truly that hard? I don't really remember, but I do remember that I played it atleast seven times over, starting from hard, and it wasn't even the hardest level of them. Atleast, that's how I remember it.

The problem for me isn't that it's hard (I think it's insanely hard though). It's that in a very progression heavy game they suddenly strip you of all your hard earned shit and go kthxbai. Could work as a bonus level, not as something you need to do to finish the game.

A valid point, but oh well. I don't think RiG are going to fix this unles we pester them about it on their forums. Jiři Procházka as I remembered him from the forums was a pretty nice guy who listens to the fanbase.

Trying to find out the way Jiři's name is spelled led me to RiG's twitter. This particular tweet caught my attention. I wonder why Valve deems JnG unsuitable for Steam users. You guys got any ideas? I mean, okay, the game is a little bit demented, kinda reminiscent of Postal 2 (not PoRtal 2, though maybe...) in its twistedness. But it's still pretty quality entertainment, right? Hell, who are we to ask for validation, of course it's a damn fine game.

Oh, and that's just sad: JnG 2 has been put on hold.
