Well, I know Final Fantasy has been posted earlier, but I'll still post To Zanarkand from FFX. It's the only FF game I've played besides 1 (heresy, I know), and I strongly suspect I'll be picking it up when it's re-released for the PS3.

FFX was the first one I played. Great great music.
Pieces like this gets me all teary eyed. Seriously, I cannot think of any other game that's had that effect on me.

There is this obscure Polish PC game, Crime Cities, a clone of G-Police, apparently. It had a pretty cool soundtrack.
Also for PC, an equally-if-not-more obscure bullet-hell shoot 'em up: Hellsinker. Its OST is quite memorable.

It's fun to watch the pony in your avatar dance to the beat of this music. :D
Braid does not have original soundtrack, it just uses existing tracks by various artists. Guess that doesn't count as video game music, then, does it? It's a shame, because the music in Braid sounds great.

The Lost Odyssey Main Theme.
I have never even played the game, since I'm a pure PC gamer and not really into JRPGs anyway, but that track is bloody gorgeous. Nobuo Uematsu is a fucking genius.
