I wasn't really much of a console gamer as a child (well, still not, though I own a PS3 now), but I did play quite a bit of Alex Kidd at a cousin's.

As for some SID, how about The Goonies?

A few of my favourite video game tracks are from, true story, the Tarzan Action Game.

That game was so amazingly good back then, at least for me, I was, 7 or 8 I believe.

I recently looked up the music and my god, I was overwhelmed with feelings of nostalgia.

Why wouldn't it be allowed? It is a game as much as every else that have been mentioned here. But I already mentioned:P

Have some Little Big Adventure. (Aka Relentless: Twinsen's Adventure.)
I remember this as one of the great games I've played. Probably wouldn't get the same feeling if I played it today, but I just found out it's available at Good Old Games for $6, so I might give it a shot...

So many badass soundtracks.

In Sweden there is a word called allmänbildning that roughly translates to something like general knowledge.
Anyways, getting a metric fucktonne of allmänbildning atm. Even being a massive soundtrack fan there is great stuff in here that I've missed out on.
So thanks for yer contributions. And keep it going. \(◔ ◡ ◔)/

Well, I know Final Fantasy has been posted earlier, but I'll still post To Zanarkand from FFX. It's the only FF game I've played besides 1 (heresy, I know), and I strongly suspect I'll be picking it up when it's re-released for the PS3.
