Create Stop SOPA group on last.fm, anyone?  ::)

Or even better, mail or call your national news paper/tv/radio. Give them all the info, links and contacts that they need.
Those guys are always looking for a story.

Word. Groups on facebook, last.fm and chain-letter-statuses on twitter and facebook are just prime examples of really pointless slacktivism. If you care enough to act, then act properly and do something that might actually make a bloody difference. Hmm.... I feel an article coming here..
Oi, is this when I get a huge sig-image, start whining about "moar sid" and make nonsensical arguments to no good?

Been readin a lot about this lately and I... I just dont know what the fuck to say. This is so far over the top I can't believe it is actually a serious law-suggestion. Withing the first few lines of the formulation it already violates several points in both human rights and the US Constitution. I just don't see how they could possibly get this trough. But hey, they declared pizza a vegetable, so obviously people know how to grease the wheels over there.

And its so typical of USA, how can the just declare a law that affects the whole world?! Someone ought to go kick their face in some day soon...

Quote from the bill sponsor Lamar Smith:

"Unfortunately, the theft of America's IP costs the U.S. economy more than $100 billion annually and results in the loss of thousands of American jobs."

I just don't think facepalming will cut it this time.

Dei took ur jooobs!

And also:

The AFL-CIO's Paul Almeida, arguing in favor of SOPA, stated that free speech was not a relevant consideration, because "The First Amendment does not protect stealing goods off trucks."

My god.. how can people like this lead a country

I wish Americans could appreciate how appropriate the acronym SOPA really is.
