Just found this interesting video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0J0RO49K_8

It seems a lot of stuff was edited. For example, go to 4:36 and then check the official footage.

Other than that, I loved the concert! MaSu rocks!

*shrugs* Mistakes happen. It's part of what makes a concert special; it's not recorded several times and mixed until it's absolutely perfect. It's realtime, so if you miss a note or go off key, there's no going back to do it over, you just soldier on and pretend it never happened.

Additionally, mistakes are sort of a good thing. Mistakes don't happen in playback, so little mistakes just prove it really is live.
Your approval fills me with shame.

You missed the point.
The "problem" here is that the edited the mistakes away in the final video :P

Believing in a zombieman from outer space who is his own father is pretty funny, but that's not what MaSu is about //yas

Rob is a perfectionist so....

Isn't that the main reason that no MaSu release is shit?

I dont blame them for correcting minor misstakes that would have taken away from the awesomeness of the video :) I´m just pointing it out.

*chuckles* So you'd rather have had an uncut and un-edited 80 minute long HQ vid you can pimp to your friends?

What? It was you who said that mistakes was part of the charm, did you change your mind suddenly? :P Also, I said that I don't blame them for editing, i'm just pointing out that they did.

It's not only normal practice but a must-to-do. If you're gonna release a concert video the sound must be recorded "multitrackingly", so you could edit or re-record something what gone wrong. And when you edit video you must hide such things like scratching someone's nose, connecting plugged-out cords and so on. I always tell that filming is a half of magic, another half is editing. So, that fact shouldn't be shocking.

But it's interesting though to see sneak peaks of bloopers.

I just think it would have been awesome to have the full video feeds from every camera, like in the clip posted earlier, for those fans who want to experience a MaSu concert fully, but have never had the change to go to one. I'm not saying that I don't like the video, because it's the most epic thing I have ever watched with my eyes, but an "uncut" and behind the scenes look or something would be so awesome.
I'm definitely not trying to sound like I am complaining, because everyone involved did an awesome job, and I thank you guys for it.

I think they won't let me not only make the Russian documentary but be on their concerts ever if I do it.

Syntax is a bit weird in that sentence - does that mean if you make a documentary, they won't let you go to a concert, ever again?

I meant, if I upload something else, they won't let me neither make a documentary (or any other videos), nor visit their concerts :)

Get that keyboard back. Winterstorm sounded weird without it.
