Double post.
I'm bored, so I translated your carpet-cleaning haiku too.

I clean your carpets
by licking the floor like so.
Super  effective!

カーペット カーペット
舐めて掃除し なめて そうじし
ちょ効力 ちょこうりょく

Ah, That explains the reduplication of a lot of words.
"Actually, wooden stakes are for vampires. Wooden steaks are for vegetarians."

I believe so, yeah. That's pretty much what it says in his profile, alright.
I'd love to stick this haiku somewhere in an Eastern-themed forum and have people who are somewhat handy with Japanese (but aren't natives) scratch their heads about what the heck it's supposed to mean. I don't know why. Eh, it can't be harmful, so let's do it anyway.
No more WoW references. WoW is evil.

Yes, he does. But just because I live in Japan doesn't mean automatic Japanese mastery. I've had to study for 4 years to get to this barely decent level of Japanese :( One day, one day, I will be fluent...

Awesome. Yeah, I never assumed you had mastered the language, I mean, it is a foreign language after all, they are difficult. I think the only Japanese I know is "Watashi wa shirubuushi desu", which I think means "I am awesome". Even then, I think that's wrong,  because that was a translation I made in a phrasebook years ago.
