If there was a "I don't give a toss for those stupid fuckwits who are famous just for who they're marrying/who their daddy is"  button I'd press it.

Must be the American in me.

I do care. Personally I think it's total waste of money and time, sending it on hundreds of tv-channels all around the globe. Also I don't appreciate anybody just because he/she has happened to be born into certain family or got married to one. Thus I just wonder why anybody bothers to watch how two persons neither of whom has done absolutely nothing worth mentioning gets married... So this kind of news about nothing happening to me... Kind of like Tuksu's or Matti Nykänen's (finnish "celebrities", latter being ex-sport hero but still meh) weddings or some other stuff like that. I just don't understand reality-tv of that kind.

Oh yes : why do I care then if it means nothing to me? Because my wife watched it... And because that's one of her really rare harmless "faults" I happily let her do so without complains. But hearing it happening on background and seeing glimpses of that involuntarely made me bit annoyed... And that's why I did care about it :D

o_O Seems a bit exaggerated. I mean, if monarchy is outdated today can of course be discussed, but I don't see the point in saying "the English royal family is so evil: because they were the ones that the Americans wanted to get away from, when they declared themselves independent. AND they changed their name!"
Time has changed, England doesn't want to control the USA any more like they did back in the 18th century with the colonies... So my comment here would be: Congrats for becoming independent, but stop bitching about it when it's history.
For the name thing: Being German, this might be the reason why I don't see that it's evil to change your name so nobody sees you were German once. But well that's just royalty, they married eachother and maybe it's just hazard that they didn't marry in a way that would have brought them a Scandinavian or Spanish or whatever name.

Summarized: this video is exaggerated and full of unjustified calling them evil o_O

EU is bad, Royalty is bad... Well they got it right. Also, I think, USA is bad. And Finland is as well. And by saying that they are bad I don't mean inviduals, I mean the systems in itself. This whole modern system is bad and it's always on it's way to the worse. Those who have big money and right connections are pulling the strings here, there, everywhere. They don't care about nation borders, they don't care about laws, they don't care about what's fair or right... And as long as individuals are buying all their lies, all their mindwashing and becoming loyal mindless zombies they can do what they please in peace. There's only one truth and it's said by their loudest voice so that everybody hears it... So let's just tune in and try to ignore those little voices that tell us that's something ain't right in this picture.

Well, as Gravehill said these people in places of power are all incredibly corrupt. He's just pointing out what he says in most of his other videos, which is the level of control they are trying to implement on the masses. And it's not just royalty, this extends into most governments in the world today. He's only focusing on the royal family (which is evil imo, as well as the corrupt USA government and others) because of the irony of the whole situation. The media was hyping up and making the royal wedding some huge deal like people should actually care and borderline worship these people, even though they're justifying wasting millions of tax dollars by giving people the day off, when in fact it's due to rules like the monarchy and other governments that our political systems are becoming more and more corrupt and we seem to be moving toward world control as a whole.

I think he also mentions their involvement in the Bilderberg meetings and how they are some of the leading proponents of the bull shit carbon tax for the global warming facade, among other socialist policies. I would agree with you that it seems a bit exaggerated, but when you look at the bigger picture it all seems to fit in with what other governments (mainly the US in assocation with the United Nations) are trying to do, and there is definitely truth to what he is saying.

I watched it just because it is history and I liked Diana and I think Kate is cool (and I like that she is a commoner). I do feel bad that their lives are no secret, and do not envy them the lack of privacy. I also find myself chafing at the idea that they have to live in a particular way, act in a particular way, etc.

My highlight of the event was Princess Bea's hat though. ANTLERS AHOY!

So I just read that security at the wedding was thought to cost about eight MILLION dollars.

And guess who paid it?

I'll give you a hint.  Not the royal family.
