I'm currently picking up Ayreon/Star One's albums. I have the awesome Space Metal and Victims of the Modern Age by Star One, Ayreon's Actual Fantasy Revisited arrived in the post today and is currently on the media player, and I find myself wishing for a Machinae Supremacy, Sid-Metal Opera/concept album.

Also started listening to more Abney Park recently.

Gasmac Gilmore - Dead Donkey
It's not typical for this site, yet awesome alternative folk metal.

I'm a huge Billy Talent fan so I've been pretty much repeating their new song nonstop: Viking Death March

Probably a lot lighter than what anyone here is listening to, but outside of MaSu I don't really like metal all that much haha. I'm more of a grunge/punk/alternative kind of guy.

Knife Party's new EP is out today!

KP consists of rob/gareth from pendulum, and define their genre as death electro/derpstep/seisure music :P
If you like electronic music, or hell, even if you dont, you NEED to check this out!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guLzPdhT3tA&hd=1 Rage Valley and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKzsktuqwyU Centipede are probably my favorites from the ep :) (to understand the intro of the last song; you should know that the track that really made pendulum famous was named 'Tarantula')
Listen to the whole song before you decide if you like it or not!

Edit: and the ep's for sale on http://www.beatport.com

Engel.  :) They have a bit of dubstep influence on their newest one, not on all songs though. And I think that's a good thing, they've found a good new addition to their mix of melodeath-catchiness.

We're open to such things, we've even talked many times about doing it with Inja, but in a way that's redundant because we can already get Erica

The one album that's been in all my players the past week, and which continues to ring through even when the players are silent, is Asia: XXX
Just give a listen to the first song on that album: Tomorrow the world. Although my secret favorite is Bury me in willow.

I'm very much into a Swedish thrash metal band called Zombiekrig at the moment. They are fucking awesome, and you should take a look: http://open.spotify.com/artist/2UM5JWGjTiMPrJ8XxVyiXA

I have been looking forward to Sybreeds album for a while aswell, such an underrated band! And Line of Least Resistance is amazing.
Also, I love that they give out previews etc from the album, long before they actually release it. Keeps the hype going (hint, hint) :)

Yeah they're so damn underrated. Really like Ben's voice, it's unique, like Robert's =) I hope the new album will bring them more fans. Haha the "some new shit"-things were great, arrriibaaa! =D

Well, there's this gem from Jeroen Tel: Tera Tokyo 2020, but if you want total and utter (SID) heaven, go for no less than all 23 minutes of Firing UP. Done by Jeroen Tel (NL), Mick Rippon (AU), Thomas Mogensen (DK) and Thomas Egeskov Petersen (DK) (Maniacs of Noise).

It's available on Youtube as well (I find that Soundcloud doesn't work in my Firefox. You may want to use IE or another browser for that.)
When you read the comments on Youtube, it gives a link to a site that has it up for download in MP3 format.

If only MaSu could make a song like this... Or heck, the next 23 minutes. :P

I've been listening to Underworld featuring Dame Evelyn Glennie's track from the Industrial Revolution section of the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, titled 'And I Will Kiss'.

17 minutes and 15 seconds of win and drums.
