If this is true, I really don't understand. The band often said that they wanted to concentrate on new songs, when people asked for CD-releases or remixes of website releases.

Now that's pretty exciting. \o/ Can't wait to hear it.

Though I think the original recording and mix of Hero is quite well done.
I'd rather see like Origin or Nemesis getting the treatment. :]

I think this would be because Hero is the best song in the world (that they made).

It won't just be a re-recording, it will be a new version of the song entirely. We have new band members now that will probably put their personal stamp on the age-old classic. This isn't going to be Hero as you know it, it will be something much, much better.

Even if it was a re-recording, what's the problem? I would love to hear some high-quality, modern sound Hero!

It might be the best song in the world.  :)

Believing in a zombieman from outer space who is his own father is pretty funny, but that's not what MaSu is about //yas

With all the extra tracks they made I'm sure they're wanting to put them out for our ears. That and with all the amazingness that is going on with them on tour and probably getting a lot of new fans. The creativity must be on a high right now. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter of MaSu!

Are you sure it's a remake or is it a continuation like March Of The Undead series? *excitement!!!!*
Still like the old site release one of course though :)

And totally different-sounding to any EotW songs. I heard one very very sid-heavy track.. so much so that I can't remember any guitars. But I was quite drunk, so I may have been imagining things. ;)
I don't recall hearing any either, and I wasn't drunk. ;D

I hate you both.

We have Super Steve, maybe this can be (Super) Hero Steve, and then maybe one day, Epic Steve?
Your approval fills me with shame.

They are remaking Hero for the next album.

You knocked my mouse off the table.

Can't wait :) If only they could redo Winterstorm as well.
