They had google ads for a short time, then they removed them due to violation of terms =)

The Google ads were actually on the forum, and they only removed the news item encouraging people to click on them.

Here's the original thread about this news item1. According to it: refic put Google ads on the forum and decided to give all the proceeds to Machinae, Machinae put news on their website encouraging people to click the ads, Google found out, Machinae removed the news item.

1. Found by searching for Google by user robert.

Damn. I remember one page they had with flash I think.
Holy fuck it was cool. Dark blue with futuristic shit everywhere.
The menus' were sweeeet as fuck. I think it was pre DXM, not sure tho. Rob, you get what page I'm referring to?

Damn. I remember one page they had with flash I think.
Holy fuck it was cool. Dark blue with futuristic shit everywhere.
The menus' were sweeeet as fuck.

I remember the blue flash version of the website, it had the robot version of the band. At the time I actually grabbed the entire website and burned it on a CD along with some audio tracks.

For your nostalgia pleasure, here's a version of the site without the MP3 downloads to make the download size reasonable: machinaeweb-small.zip, about 3 megabytes.

I think it was pre DXM, not sure tho.

Yes, it was before their first album.

In the version of the website I grabbed, the news page includes an item explaining they haven't released a CD, but they sometimes bring demo CDs to gigs. The latest news item is dated 2003-01-04, so I must have grabbed it around that time. According to my notes, the next news item was on 2003-03-09 announcing Machinae Supremacy was planning to make an album. The album was finally released revealed on 2004-04-01 and released on 2004-05-01.

Edit: Digging around in the Internet Archive Wayback Machine archives of www.machinaesupremacy.com, it looks like the blue flash website was available (in parallel with an HTML version of the website) from 2002-11-30, through Deus Ex Machinae, and up to 2006-02-06 when the Redeemer release date was announced and the site was re-designed.

Wow the flash website is so freaking awesome. Seeing as I was like 7 when that thing was online, I never saw it.

Btw, seeing as you guys keep records of everything form the site, would you happen to have high quality versions of Fighters From Ninne Ver 1 and Origin Ver 1? I was just wondering because I never had a chance to obtain them...

This page was so l33t... it was still on when I joined the Machinae fanbase, but was changed a year later.
I like the idea of commenting every photo. :D
And that project of the debute album cover is cool, something between the actual DXM cover, first version of EOTW cover, and... Nathan Spencer. ;)

Kudos for you, Bavi_H!

If you look in the Wayback Machine at the oldest website, you can find OGG versions, but it looks like the MP3s aren't archived.

Remember this page? :)

http://web.archive.org/web/20060707230610/http://www.machinaesupremacy.com/

It was awesome!

Agreed, very Redeemer-ish.
Definitely my favourite era of the band (so far).

Oh I've never seen that flash site before btw, thanks Bavi_H for saving it.
