Now, with 2 songs released, the awesomeness is doubled and reaching critical levels!
The entire album will just blow the whole scale up.

THAT. Just that. Can't wait!

I think Nova Prospekt is going to take some time getting used to, an exact opposite to Force Feedback, which I loved immediatly. Having to get used to a song is mostly a good sign. It says: "This is something different, something new, something that feels 'wrong' at first." I experienced this with albums like Crack the Skye (Mastodon) and the first Coheed and Cambria record. Now two of my many favorite albums.

I love the SID usage so far on these 2 songs, I thought it was a little underwhelming in Overworld, but it seems way more in your face this time :D

Yeah. I like that too. It's more subtle than on the site releases and DXM, but it's definetly A LOT more there than on Overworld. Just like I love it. And the SID at like 3:30 - end is soooo fantastic. Music is too.

To me, Nova Prospekt is like a rolling tank, the harbinger of the upcoming machinaepocalypse.

Tbh, Nova Prospekt has piqued my interest a lot more than Force Feedback. Don't get me wrong, they both raep the hell out of most songs out on teh interwebz, but NP just nudged ahead of Force Feedback for me :D

Strongly agree. I had to listen to it about five times to realize, how awesome it is.

IMHO Nova Prospekt sounds way better - it's not as compressed as Force Feedback and the high frequencies are intact here (just listen to Nicky's open hats), with mastering resembling Redeemer, pretty close to the sound of Reanimator. That's soundwise.

But in general both songs are equally awesome. I noticed the band's tendencies to do epic bridges and solos on the new album. Nice of you to give us two pretty different songs, but as I said both are equally awesome and it's impossible for me to point out the better one.

There are even more styles on the album. As per usual, we transcend genres as we reinvent them ;)

No, but seriously, like with Overworld and Redeemer, you'll find pure "poprock" songs, fast punk-like songs, heavy metal songs, power(ish) metal songs, and more!

I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks when the full album is out.

It's my job to keep SID elite.
