It won't be a good album unless if the band thinks that it's great. If not, then it shows that they didn't put a lot of work into it.

Then again, I don't think Ozzy put a lot of work in his last two albums yet everyone froths over them. /boggle

So, another female cover? Do we want it? ;)

Hehe, so I did an "alternate" style album cover. But then I made a female face one, just for old times sake. I must now choose between them

I'm game, I like the artwork of the last two records. Then again, doing something different is always good.

Different is only good if it doesn't suck. And as it happens, when it comes to art, I have _one_ skill. Hawt cyberchick faces.

The other cover, I realize now, is simply a lesser specimen in every way. Yes, folks... What I am saying is: Prepare for yet another awesome chick staring back at you from the new album cover.

Can you release the other album art as a dA piece or in some form of poster or something?

News! From Robert's twitter:
Quote from: starbert
Album cover work. I've done female faces as cover art for the last two albums. This time, I'm doing something different.
Not everyone is using this Twitter thing, so I thought it was worth copying. Let the speculations begin(?)!
Yet again here with the inside scoop.. Gaijin is rumoured to be doing a collaboration with rob for the album art. Now, seeing as Gaijin specialises in artistic nudes, my automatic guess would be along those lines. However, I do think it's something much different and unexpected.

He does plenty of photography in plenty of different categories, maybe he is just taking a nice photo of a city or town that Rob can light on fire!

Hmmm... might this be an early prototype of the album art?

This look is very Coheed and Cambria-esque.

MaSu are not a bunch of copycats.

Bring on the porn album covers.

The cover for the Redeemer Underground Edition was awesome, and it wasn't a female face. Are the same things every time not a little bit drab? I don't dislike it but a different style would be cool imho.

Working on the booklet right now. I'm curious... How important are lyrics in an album booklet? Personally I like it, but I want your opinions. Don't be shy, let us know... Do you buy an album, and lie back on your bed and read the lyrics as you listen the first time, or do you buy/warez/spotify digitally only and don't really care? // gazz

What I tweeted back at Gaz:

Quote
@starbert @machinsupremacy I like booklets + lyrics, but doing something different / surprising is even BETTER. Think Tool CDs

I always like to have the lyrics in the booklets, especially when it's hard to learn all the lyrics by just listening. But, if you do something special, like Tool often does with there CD's, I like that even better. The transparant Lateralus cover or the 3D 10,000 Days cover are great examples of that IMO.

Truth. Even just the rounded corners of the case for the last album made it that much more special.

I loved the small easter eggs on Redeemer UE, "pwnz this shit" etc. I'm okay with not having lyrics in the booklet if they're released online, but I like them being there, just in case.
We're open to such things, we've even talked many times about doing it with Inja, but in a way that's redundant because we can already get Erica

I would like lyrics in the booklet.
