Sirenia - The 13th Floor is rather disappointing. On the one hand the new vocalist is good and there is a bit more death grunts this time around. On the other hand its just like the last album but with all the melodies simplified and barely noticeable (and those were the best part and saving grace of the last album) with some rather boring riffs that seem to try to be 'heavier' kinda like Once compared to past Nightwish albums. :'(

Dark Age are probably going to release a new album this fall.
Probably.
I guess it's going to be 2010.
We're open to such things, we've even talked many times about doing it with Inja, but in a way that's redundant because we can already get Erica

Fall :

I think it may have been caused by Ant replying to the wrong thread, cos he's a nub >:D

Which means Cradle Of Filth - Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder also shouldn't be on there under October

Dunno if anyone heard the new Entwine (Painstained), I got to review it for the Dutch site I work at and it's quite good actually! I found a torrent on Mininova if not mistaking, so you COULD try it out.

And some quite OKish open source audio, Roncsipar - Concrete Waste California:

Described as:  ''a mix of doom metal with trance/industrial and death metal influence''

Ahaaaa it's true, balls, sorry :x

With regards to Rammstein:

Therefore the band sat down with the orchestra arranger Sven Helbig last week.
Aside from the last musical changes the final lyrical changes are being made, too.
We’re highly awaiting the next steps of the album production: the mixing of the songs. It is supposed to start mid of march and will take about six up to eight weeks.

We’ll keep you posted..

Eternal Tears Of Sorrow - TBA has a title now: Children of the Dark Waters
I approve of the album art: http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/9677/33877183097ebf12dc72o.jpg

Raubtier - Det Finns Bara Krig was released this week. 40 minutes of diesel induced industrial metal with Swedish lyrics. Sounds a lot like Rammstein's earlier stuff.
Best tracks:
Kamphund (a dog used in pit fights, no idea if there's a proper word for it in English)
Det Finns Bara Krig There is Only War
Dieseldöden Diesel Death
Legoknekt Mercenary

New Mastodon album out a few days ago = awesome.

New Isis and Eluveitie albums coming out next month.

Then Rammstein?!

This is a good year for music.

Ant: the Isis album has Adam Jones playing on it. ;D
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.
