bit the bullet, ordered Rock Band.

...now i have to wait a couple of days for it to arrive, kinda regretting not just going to town and picking it up.

I'm really jealous of the US and Japan. We in Europe has to wait like, 6 months, PLUS that it cost insanely much: 315 dollar.
I'm thinking about importing, it might be cheaper.

Yeah i was thinking that but the software isn't compatible with a uk xbox (apparently the ps3 version is region free though), and there's likely to be a big import tax to pay for the large hardware. It'll probably end up only slightly cheaper, and you won't be able to return any faulty hardware.

play.com managed to dispatch the software later than the instruments, so i'm 99% certain that i'm going to be getting the instruments a day before the software. how annoying. at least if the game came first i could use my gh2 controller....

Aha.
Well, since my economy is greatly limited, I don't think there'll be any Rock Band for me. Unless I'll buy it together with a friend.

By the way, how much does it cost to rent that space under your avatar? ;)

it can be yours for £3.72. Or an item of similar value. Or free if you can think of something witty enough to put in it.

I have some strange masochistic completionist quality where I must finish every game I start no matter how much I dislike the experience

you..you play games that are utter shite just because you want to finish them?
you are a brave man, sir.
a brave man.

Indeed, I take back what I said!

However, we can only hope RA3 isnt as bad as some people fear.
Not dead, just the worlds worst lurker.

Its all fun and games until somebody gets a FAIL!

Perry_Cox_MD : Some Steam games, COD4, Gears of War, UT3, Kongregate

I just bought a game for the first time in.... a couple years. i think patrician 3 was the last one.

Well, i guess i paid for eve online, but that doesn't count...?

for the record, i decided to pay stardock for the countless hours of entertainment they've provided me with, by buying the latest (and coincidentally not yet torrentable) expansion for galactic civilizations 2.

once i am in the routine of my new job, i'm sure i'll be supporting companies more, but as of now this is a big deal for me.

Pokemon Pearl *humps DS Lite*

Since when do you have Pokemon? :o

We should battle 8)

What levels are your pokemon? My final 6 are: 62, 57, 51, 31, 1, {don't have yet}.

I think it's clear by the level correlation when I got which pokemon first :)

Maybe Planetside 14 day trial.

I think they're mostly 55-65 but I can't remember. I'll remember to look later, but now I'm playing FF12.
