Fuel by Metallica, Wherever I May Roam by Metallica, and probably every Breaking Benjamin song would be good too, if those were released on an album or free I would be amazed even more!!!

Also a cover of Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru would be cool too!

Edit: Also BYOB by System of a Down and Crying Like a Bitch by Godsmack.

We all know by now that Machinae enjoy making funny pop covers, as they seem to enjoy making an alternative commentary on the overproduced masses by taking a professionally produced and written pop song and turning it into something much better by simply laying some sweet sweet metal on it.

So, I sincerely doubt they would ever cover another metal song. Pop songs provide an excellent platform for the SiD to excel, as many modern pop songs already have synth parts, the harmonies etc can be replaced with retro sounds, manifesting Machinae's archetypical sound. - whilst Machinae are capable of writing solely metal tracks, their thing is SiD - and it wouldn't fit into a cover of, say, Fuel by Metallica, or some random Breaking Benjamin song.

We've already seen that A View From The End Of The World [henceforth shortened to EOTW] does not contain any cover songs. I don't think we're going to see any more covers for a long time coming, either.

Ok how about Take me to Infinity by Breathe Carolina and other songs from Breathe Carolina's Hello Fascination album? They have mainly pop/dance with some heavy parts.

Edit: Maybe some Katy Perry or Ke$ha songs? Maybe I'm Not Afraid by Eminem (if they would redo it, would remind me of Stand with an Eminem variety)? Possible You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive?

Now I could actually see Machinae covering "You Spin Me Round" - considering it has a similar bpm to Gimme Gimme and a similar style overall, it would probably end up sounding quite the same, but would give it a fresh take. It's a shame both are such repetitive and potentially annoying songs (I know I got sick of Gimme Gimme as it was released before the album, meaning I overlistened - making me skip it every time it came on on Overworld).

I get a daily dose of Machinae Supremacy everyday, makes my day better :) But I can see what you mean, I give some Machinae Supremacy songs a break sometimes though not very often and not that many are on that let it rest a while list :)

Pretty random but how about Neon Lights by Kraftwerk, would be good if it was covered and still slow and long?

If the Guano Apes could cover Alphaville's 'Big in Japan', then MaSu should be able to make it shine.

Similarly:

Aha - Take on Me
Paul Engemann - Push it to the Limit (From the film Scarface)
A Sid version of Kirsty McColl and The Pogues - Fairytale of New York
Lastly, Peter Schilling - Major Tom

You should make a faster version of Through the Fire and Flames. At least then these critiques putting you in the same line as DragonForce will not be that senseless.

Okay, you could mix these tracks alltogether and call it March of the Undead V. :P

Paul Norman's Forbidden Forest or Aztec Challenge, if not I could settle with GUNTHER and Sunshine Girls - Ding Ding Dong  ;D
