Genesis - Land of Confusion.

I know its been done by Disturbed already, but with SID it could be fantastic.

And by In Flames before Disturbed.

My wish would be...

Rockwell feat Michael Jackson - Somebody's Watching Me

I think machinae would do A GODLY version of Kate Bushs "Running up that hill"..  I have hinted it to Gordon but he said that it will probably take a while before they do another cover.. Getting the permissions etc isnt as easy as you think.. It doesnt help my case that it also has been coverd bye other bands (Placebo has a great version out)..

Getting permissions? You shouldn't need to do that - most music is on a compulsory license (you still have to pay royalties, though).

That would actually be rather awesome. I support Afterburn.

Or maybe we could have them cover Rosa Helikopter?

Hmmm...I suddenly envisioned a SIDized version of Purple Haze or some other nice Hendrix track.

At least this thread has enough material already for a cover album, a couple more pages and it can be a double-album, time enough to figure out the permissions.  ;D

Any song per say from YES!.

I mean the amount of keyboard they kick into their music is almost next to ridiculous.

Yes! - Homeworld is a nice one.

Where did that "a thousand times no" thing come from? I had to watch a video on the new dress code at work and the goofy guy hosting it said the exact same thing. It sparked a few laughs, for sure. :P

Within Temptation covered this.

My vote would be The Cardigans - My Favourite Game

Here's an out of left-field suggestion:

Skid Row - "Slave To The Grind"

Interesting, maybe?

They could do the best song ever written: Kate Bush - Wuthering Hights. I know it's been done before, but still. :P

Plastic Pop!

Heard it on Slayradio yesterday and it instantly came to my mind that this song definitely has had enough SID and is now ready for some metal!
