The little booklet inside your CD case, anyone?

Gordon has my Overworld CD so I can obviously not use it right now >.<
I'll come and get it next time I go to Luleå, so Gordon don't get scared if I suddenly stand outside your door one day soon...  :P

Some random thoughts...

The style that was discussed earlier, where we record ourselves lipsynching a machinae song, wouldn't that be ideal for Radio Future?
The video - and the whole process of making it - would perfectly tie into the "make my own transmission in the storm"-theme. In a world where mainstream music and videos turn people into obedient and uncritical drones, machinae fans are seizing Web 2.0 for their revolution. WTF. Mix in the real band singing, or even better yet, have them perform with our videos in the background, and you have the ultimate visualisation of "Radio Future"'s intentions.

As for the Conveyer video, I guess if there are a lot of different people involved, the hard part is to create a coherent look of the video. Still I prefer real video to CGI only. If we're going for CGI, I always thought that Soilwork video worked pretty well:http://youtube.com/watch?v=a733LewgmD0

And lastly an idea for the Conveyer video, in tradition of said Soilwork piece. Story pitching time:

Imagine a factory, worn down, dirty, yet running with the cold precision of a clockwork (all CGI). We're starting the video in a giant inventory and move on to production, with a complex set of machines, conveyor belts and other factory-like contraptions. In the inventory, we find hundreds (ok, maybe dozens) of cubes or generic products, each of them with their own video on them. Not surprisingly, each of the videos contains our renditions of being commercialised, "on display", a product" or simply trapped inside the cube. As we progress through the factory, we can see the cubes being produced, barcoded, etc. Some of the cubes - those where the people inside the video aren't mainstream enough - are being sorted out and destroyed. We also need lots of "mainstream" cubes, with adapted, indifferent looking people.
As a story line, we follow three cubes whose video "inhabitants" are trying to escape from the factory. Visual humor might even work here, e.g. smashing into the video flips the cube from a conveyor belt and so on. And of course, the three people inside their respective cubes are helping each other.
Of course, in the end those three cubes (or maybe only one, with the other two being cruelly destroyed) can escape onto one final conveyor belt out of the factory and into freedom. Whatever they (or he/she) finds there, could be subject to alternate endings, as it shapes the whole intention of the video. My ideas:
1. Cold, dark, empty space. The remaining cube freezes, the video flickers and disappears, the person inside suffocating. (Might not be that Machinae-like...)
2. A nuclear wasteland.
3. The surviving cubes land on a pile of other escaped cubes in an actually not too bad looking environment (maybe even with sun and green stuff like... trees)
4. I don't have the creativity for happy endings. Make up your own.

I like Bates' idea (switching to Radio Future, that is).

I think you guys are thinking too hard about this. Whats with all this "Cold, dark CGI scenery"? Isn't it just suppose to be a video of us rocking out and making fools of ourselves too the tune of Conveyer for the fun of it?

If someone made a custom chart I'd definitely make a vid of me playing to it! Otherwise I'm not sure what I could contribute.

Ok, just rocking out seems to be the most feasible idea. No dark factories and no wristslashing housewives (http://forum.machinaesupremacy.com/index.php/topic,3428.msg135825.html#msg135825) then. I still have to pitch those ideas to rob sometimes.  :P

Even more important:
dezo approves

Cross-quoting!

-To have others play our music totally rawks =) Listen to the lyrics of radio future and then try to imagine our take of ppl making fanvids and stuff (we <3 it)
