Well, since I'm still having problems with my whole internet thing, I can't use IE, and my Firefox has a problem with loading a lot of websites I like to go to, it'll always load the entire page and then close out certain tables so I can't read certain text or images or whatever, so I've decided to download Opera, see how that goes, and if that doesn't work out too well, I'll give this new FF a chance.

Use both Opera and Firefox, dear? ;D

Anyway, I use Minefield (at the moment: Firefox Beta 4), and I have no troubles at all.

How'd you get your hands on Beta4? I could only find Beta3 :|
Anyway, looks like they fixed some memory leaks.

That's because this is Beta 4... PRE-RELEASE. ;D

Minefield is the Firefox beta version, that updates nightly, and is therefore the next beta step, when Firefox 3 was in alpha, that was Minefield. Minefield is always a step ahead; when Mozilla released Beta 1, Minefield's in Beta 2. Beta 2 released, Minefield's in Beta 3. Beta 3 released, Minefield's in Beta 4, and so on. Basically, Minefield is where the Betas of Firefox 3 comes from, so I get to test-drive the Betas before they are released. :)

Minefield's current version string is "3.0b4pre", also known as "Beta 4 Pre-Release of Firefox 3.0". :)

Sure you don't have something like adblock installed? Have you got a screenshot of this phenomenon and a list of installed add-ons/themes? Opera is a pile of shite.

No adblocker or anything like that installed. >: I like Opera. It's just a little slow at times.

Yay, minefield installed! ;D
I use opera for a few tabs that I just keep open all the time, and firefox as my default web browser for links etc, because I feel safer with noScript and Adblock.

I actually just read your other topic, which does rather sound like this has absolutely nothing to do with Firefox at all. ;-)

Well, since I'm still having problems with my whole internet thing,

I once had a similar issue (couldn't read the forum, for example), it fixed itself eventually. I gather it was my isp playing silly buggers.
