The single and the video for it are available on their myspace : www.myspace.com/inflames

Never trust 'The Single' song  :). Although this one is pretty good..

Although I don't agree, can we trust this one ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrZBN9RDX8k

This is another song from the upcoming album, this one's called Disconnected.

And a little bonus : http://www.play.com/Music/MP3-Download-Album/4-/5173620/The-Mirror-Truth/Product.html

On this page you'll find samples from the single. There are 4 tracks : the single song, and 3 non-album tracks, recorded during the same session though.

Wow, youtube moderators are so fast...

Here it is (I hope) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYP5lLdHBrA

Can't listen to it to tell you it's the actual song since I'll wait for the album to be released.

Hmm.. I'm not sure wether to trust "The Mirror Of Truth". It sounds a bit too weak, not the old powerful IF that I remember of past. Where have the melodic riffs gone? This single song sounds too thrashy, and for starters that first little solo at the start doesn't even belong.

Hopefully the rest of the album will be better. I'm not going to judge an album by its single, I'll download it later and decide then.

Whatever, I was hardly paying much attention to it anyway, it didnt really catch my ear like Come Clarity etc did.

You're the only one to say this, of all the people who have listened to this single. They all say, TMT is in the vein of Come Clarity, with the little solo at the start which is very Clayman-ish. A friend of mine who listened to the album (received a promo to review it) told me it's some Come Clarity 2 but with more melodies, and some experimentations (an 8min song influenced by Radiohead).

Surprisingly, I really haven't jumped to listen to In Flames, but I hear they're really good.
I might pick this CD up if I listen to their other stuff and like it.

Come on and look at the other side.

I'd say listen to their newer stuff first, then progress backwards. That's kinda how I do it when I discover a new artist, that way, I probably won't be disappointing if it doesn't sound quite the same.
