Some songs still sound great on that rip, so I wonder how pimped up they must be on the retail.

Exactly my thoughts! :D

This CD shows you guys still know the deal and try a lot out. DXM - SID, RE/RE - Epic and now OV - Raw/Power. That's what I think.
Agree :)

it is jsut some parts in few songs that are fcked up in the rip its high quality but lousy rip.

Yeah, I agree.. Well, it's not very high, it's a variable speed UP TO 256kb/s, which means that it floats around 256kb/s, only below that though, which means that it tops 256kb/s. That's kinda mediocre IMHO. A 320kb rip is what I will have on my computer when I have the CD.

Wow, too much techno babble. :D

I've got Redeemer ripped in .flac format. Makes the album around 500 MB, but it's worth it. I'll be doing the same for Overworld once it gets to me.

Do you mean that you will rip it or download it?

Because downloading it again when you can rip it yourself seems kinda... pointless, imo. :P

Oh, I will be ripping it from the cd. That way I know the quality is lossless for certain.

If you rip it in a lossless coded (*cough*FLAC*cough*), then it's lossless. :)

Uh yes, I know that. I was saying that if you download a .flac version, you're never 100% certain that someone didn't just re-encode a 160 kbps mp3 to flac. So buying the CD solves that issue. I have a really good MP3 player and earbuds and I can easily tell that the rip currently available has issues. For example, 0:41 in Skin sounds... weird...

Oh, I didn't say you didn't know, I just recommended FLAC over other lossless codecs (WAVE files. >_<). :P

And I do agree, the rip sounds... messy, confirmed by a friend who got to listen to Conveyer. Oh well, this rip is only to ease my waiting, the real deal WILL please me. ^_^

4. Radio Future - listened to it like 10 times and I'm already fed up of the SID/synth intro. But the rest is OK, nothing special though.

This IS my favourite at the moment, really love the "Sid/Synth" and when the 2nd verse begins.... jummy  O0

its tool me like 10 times before i was hooked up, when rob show me the 1st beta.... for looong time ago.

pure wannabe popsong  ;)

I too think it's awesome. :D

However, the bad rip made the "Sid/Synth" intro sound bad, but after a few listens, it grew on me, just like any other Machinae Supremacy song. ^_^

When I first heard it, I disliked Violater.

For about 6 plays after that, I still hated it.

And now, for some reason, I love it. I think it's the chorus. <3

Official equation:

Violator * 7 = <3

Official equation:

Violator * 7 = <3

Equals less than 3? Therefore Violator is <0.42 - that's not very nice.
