Creative artists...
« on: January 03, 2008, 05:38:35 am »
I was thinking, are there any other creative artists on this forum working with grafics, 3D or stuff like that. Students, pro or amatures...

I'm an Independent filmmaker.

What do you do?

I do think we have a few amateur visual artists around these forums, yes. Rob* is among them, and I have a couple of forumers on my DevArt watchlist.

I've been meaning to wander into photography myself, but as I'm currently without camera it's a bit hard :P

I do art & design in school, a-level, so it's something I've chosen to do. I'd really like to get into animation...

There's a creative artist in a dungeon in my head. But he never grew limbs.
Just close your eyes and keep your mind wide open.

If I'm honest, I'm not really much of a 'creative' artist. I simply know what I like and emulate it :x I may have ideas now and again, but not particularly often. I am quite good wth the detail n' stuff though if I do say so myself.

Heh...reminds me...I have this idea...you know that "a picture says more than a thousand words". Well, what about arranging 1000 words, or 1001, or whatever, on pieces of paper and take a photo of it? That's not the thing, though. I've never heard about anyone doing this before, and Google shows me nothing. However, what I really wonder is this: How many artists have thought of that idea, and then thought "nah, that is bound to have been done to death before"?

Of course, half such an artwork would be exactly which 1001 words you photographed.

I asked to be your Myspace friend a little while ago. I really like your stuff dude. :D

Would you mind telling me how you make the SID noises? I'd really like a program so I can start making music. I have a lot of ideas but I'm really inexperienced with these things. I downloaded Propellorhead a while ago but I haven't had a chance to use it, plus I heard it's hard to get the hang of.
