Lostprophets coming with a new one too? Although I don't like their music anymore (did 2, 3 years ago) I want to check the new one out!

Yeah I thought the same thing. I like The Fake Sound of Progress and even most of the songs on Start Something but the new album killed it for me. I wonder if their new album will be a return to their original sound.

I like all Lostprophets' albums too. Is one of my fav bands. And, their new CD will be heavier than 'Liberation Transmission' .
During their last tour, they played 4 new songs, and all of them were awesome. It sounded like old lostprophets' sound, but with something fresh.
By the way, these songs won't be on the album.
I will give you some links :

 The Dead [live] : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxlIMEHrfBY
Next Stop Atrocity [live] : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGgUzrkdYqA
 The Weapon [studio demo]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL8rINr9SWc
For He's A Jolly Good Felon [live]: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHU6NdFauxE

The album should be out in March/April.

Can't wait. The Weapon sounds a bit dodgy though.

Black Mountain - In the Future
Earth - The Bee Made Honey in the Lion's Skull
The Mountain Goats - Heretic Pride

all are needed

Well I checked out the Thrice Alchemy Volumes one and two. I didn't mind water but I didn't think fire was all that good. I can see the water one as a kind of stoner album though. :D

I also checkout out that new Ayreon album and from what I heard (only a little since I haven't been home lately) it was really good.

Thanks for the suggestions. :)

Except for Overworld, I only have a few anticipated albums that I know of ('07 was such a great year for me as far as album releases go):

The new Avantasia album coming out, I've listened to the EP, and I don't really know what to make of it. However, considering that Tobias Sammet usually knows what he's doing, it will most definitely not suck.
Rumors have it that there is a new Rammstein album coming out this year. I want them to be true.

I'm getting Mike Oldfield's new album, Music of the Spheres. I listened to some samples and was instantly sold.

Not to sound generic but I'm mainly looking forward to Overworld and Inja's album. I know Inja's album technically released in 2007, but those of us in the states are still unable to get it until it moves to a site that allows downloads or mail sent to the US.

I found alot of great music in 07 that I personally enjoyed quite a bit, I can only hope 08 provides me with as much music enjoyment. But hell, who am I kiddin... Overworld is coming!
