Whoever runs Inja Myspace put a comment on mine saying they're gunna get it on Amazon for international orders as soon as possible.

I won't be using iTunes because I don't know if the downloaded files are compatable with my Zune or if they have some kind of protection on them to prevent them from being transfered to non-ipods registered with that copy of iTunes. In other words, I don't know if they'd work on my Zune and that's what I use.

I would however order from the Zune Marketplace, but they made no mention of their album appearing there. So Amazon.com seems like my best bet unless they wanna take custom orders direct from the band.

I do really want a copy, though.

Speaking of which, semi-offtopic, but does she appear anywhere on the new album Dezo? I think we've covered this and the answer was yes, but I could be mistaken and the question hasn't been brought up in a while. Any details you can share?

Buy album in itunes, burn songs to cd, re-rip using program of your choice. bam, all stupid protection removed.

I'd buy it on iTunes if there's no other option, but I'd much rather have the physical CD.

For people in Sweden who thinks 159:- is a bit much:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=10588853&blogID=339854557

the Telia store has it for 59:- and it seems that they don't have any sort of DRM on them (as they seem to have on their WMA downloads)

Personally I think that this is well worth 59 SEK, and even if it is DRM, you could always just remove it in a foolproof way that is not so hard to figure out on your own, but I go in to here.

However, for some reason it seems to think that I live somewhere in north finland, so it won't let me buy it...

I have a program I can give you that strips DRM from songs, basically a shortcut through the way SA mentioned. Only problem I've had with it is that songs skip sometimes, but those can be fixed by re-recording. :)
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

isn't that gonna tear the quality to shreds though?

Prolly not if it's high bitrate and you use the same algorithm. Or lossless.
How to know the algorithm used by iTunes? I dunno.

As far as i'm aware, burning songs to a cd and re-ripping them doesn't effect the quality in the same way directly ripping the original file would, im not sure about this though.

I've never noticed any quality loss doing it, but I tend to only download from iTunes when I can't find it anywhere else.

As far as i know, iTunes uses the AAC Format.

And: If you convert those files, they have to be de-compressed, and then the decompressed data is converted to MP3. When you burn them on a CD and rip them again, the process is basically the same, but the uncompressed audio data is stored on the CD. So what I want to say is, there is always quality loss when you convert them to MP3.

I find the lack of availability of this album rather disappointing. :( Roll on iTunes, I guess.
