One thing that I really wonder, and I know it's silly but... why were the stereo channels for Insidious swapped on the reprint of DXM?

My question is very simple. Why is the band called Machinae Supremacy? I can understand translation, but is there any deeper context?
And why MachinAe? Any connection with Japanese?
In "MaSu forum" I didn't find that....

and...

There is nowhere wrote, who is the songwritter (and "lyricswritter") in this and this song...or who is MAIN songwritter generally in MaSu? So maybe I'm wrong, I really don't know, but I'd like to know that.
Is there any list, where is that wrote? For songs from DXM, Redeemer, Overworld and so on...

...why don't I have some answer? :-( So nobody knows? What about dezo, please ?   

I'll give my answers. Band, please correct me if I am wrong.

First of all, I think Robert is the songwriter, and he has always been the "main" songwriter, of almost every song.

I'd say because they believe that they call themselves Machinae Supremacy because they believe machines are superior to human beings, because they, robots that is, lacks the human flaws that is needed for controlling and ruling a perfect world. The old image of the band (when Kahl was still in the band), pictured the Band as machines. Again, I might very well be wrong.

It has, with almost guaranteed certainty, no connection to Japanese. It is more connected to Latin, where the word for machine is "machina". Then I don't know, add an "e" at the end, and it can still be pronounced in English.

Bocom and other forum members can answer the standard questions, like "why MaSu" and stuff.
Ofc MaSu has a different context depending on how you use the words, but Bocom's answer is a nice one imo. I would prolly add something like "what can you do with your computer" or something, but the machine-emotionless answer suits just fine =)

And "connection to japanese" I'd say something like we know a girl named Chica (spelling?).. I don't think that we have any connection beyond the obviuos -Lyrics and Musical influences. So here is a bullshit answer more fitting.. so here goes:

My dad's got a mecha parked behind the house which I use to travel to *eh* Mospaeda... oh and I speak out of sync, because I'm born in the 70's and the dubbing was not really flawless back then.

im totally addicted to the new songs "gimme More" "Radio Future" "Dark City" and "Edge And Pearl", true masterpieces^^! and all the other songs of yours rocks!^^

Welcome! It's nice to hear you liked the album.

Can't really answer for the band, but I do know a bit.

1. There are definite cyperpunkish undertones on the album. I suspect that some inspiration has been derived from the comic Rob is working on.

2. I'm personally crossing my fingers and hoping they'll be showing up in Trondheim this fall or something. It would be awesome.
