Chrono did a ton of the awesome signatures floating around here. Including mine.

Are there any laws that require you pay royalties to artists or songwriters when doing covers? For example, Gimme More? If it ends up on the album are there royalties or other issues that conflict with simply tossing it on the album?

That all depends on the agreement the original creators gave them. They had to ask permission to use the song most likely, but i doubt they would have to pay royalties.

About how much would it actually cost to fly to the US (or even just the UK, if that's more feasible) and put on a concert? I know the idea's been joked about, but it'd be cool to have numbers, just so we could get a sense of reality.

How did you guys learn to play your respective instruments?
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Single trip from stockholm to New York costs 13.600skr. about 1300euro.
If we're going to take the instruments with us you can be sure that it'd cost 30euro á kilo.

I picked up a bass and started playing.

I think maybe 4000 copies of Redeemer, both versions. Gordon probably knows better, but that's my guess.

Isn't it a little disappointing ? I mean, the MaSu community out there is so big, I thought you could easily sell like 15000 copies of the album, seeing how huge your fanbase is.

yeah, but remember you need to fill up an entire venue (or close to) with people who WANT to see them play live. as cool as you think it is, i don't think the bands up for playing to only five or six of us :P
