Believing in a zombieman from outer space who is his own father is pretty funny, but that's not what MaSu is about //yas

Yes. But also a band rob and kahl were in. Not sure about the specific details as i seem to have lost Eloj's FAQ.
Standing by for assistance.

Will we ever see (or rather, hear) any masugn songs remadeanimated on future masu albums or as downloads like the march of the undead 2? That would be ever so delicious.

Are there any more Jets'n'Guns-tune-based songs in the works?

Since Hubnester is dead, who owns all of the material that was created?

Is it public domain?

If not, who owns it all?

If the band owns it or can use it :-
Will you be using unreleased Hubnester (War Angels, Snowblind) music in future MaSu songs?

i don't really see why it would be public domain. hubnester was their company.

I guess, but the company is dead, some companies release all their shit if they just up and give up. Wait for the band to answer?

EDIT: It wasn't just their company either though, it was more than just the band in Hubnester - it was a group effort between a few friends and likeminded people.

yeah. they weren't working for some mega corp, so i would assume the music is the property of those who created it.
chances are i'm completely wrong, mind.

I'm sure they werent working for some megacorp, but I'm also sure that there would be disputes between the members of Hubnester over who actually owns all of the material.

yarr, but what i said was that regardless of in-house disputes, they (read: the members of hubnester) own the material. not sure if that answers your question but wtf. [:

Eh, not that I don't find the discussion interesting, but, I haven't really gotten any answers...
I knew that it was a band with rob and kahl, but nothing more...

I has questions!

a lot of artists end up with more songs than they plan to feature on an album.
some artists release these on a b-sides and extras record.

are there some tracks not featured on albums that you guys have laying around?
are they awesome but weren't included in an album because of theme incompatibility? (Like Ghost was originally before the retail version featured it).

if so: are there plans on releasing them in any format?

:)

For once, I get to know things!

Ok, so I have a question and an request for the band.
I have been listening to "Masugn" a lot recently, and are really fond of the music, aswell as the few lines of lyrics I can hear.
I have been trying to Google for them, but I can't find anything, not even the slightest hint that they ever existed.
What I am looking for, is lyrics. (<-- Hint for request)

I have been searching the forums, and all I could find, was an old thread, which revealed lyrics for one song and an interesting quote from Rob, saying something with; "It's best if you don't know-".
Now, this only made me more interested, and therefore, I am kindly asking the band, or someone else, to post a link, or PM me with lyrics. (<-- Request)

And the question is, what the hell is "Masugn" anyway? (<-- Question)

Robert has responded to the general request for Masugn lyrics many many times with a sound "NO.". The only Masugn track that ever had any lyrics released was Hostiles. IIRC, the reasoning on refusing to release any others was general embarrasment over the songs and lyrics as well, among other reasons. It was a side project, as much a "screw around and have fun" as FLAK.

If the band owns it or can use it :-

This also has been answered, though it was by Dezo. Any musics produced by Hubnester Industries are still and always were property of Hubnester Industries, and as of this question being answered there were no plans to release them.

I'm also not 100% sure H.I. is actually "dead".
Your approval fills me with shame.

[long ass quote]

Hubnester is dead.. or "on ice". The future will tell.
There will prolly not be any new hubnester projects in 2008. We will make machinae songs instead.
Bad? I think not!

Also, there will prolly not be any more flak songs released... but I have been wrong before.
