Lifeless I sail through these ironic fashions, dressed in the flesh of the jokers passions. On the uttermost brink of madness I stroll, and the rise of insanity as my most precious goal. Tricking the trail of my long lost obscurity, I gather me inside the artifice of eternity....

Yeah, I'm animejunkie. I think I've said it some thread somewhere in past. Nice list of movies you've seen. I haven't kept list of seen anime myself, I've found it too timeconsuming. I do keep list of my DVD collection and I have some anime there, too.

Anime is so fun! And it's great that it starts to be available in west too. I've read more manga than watch anime lately. They both have their advantages and downsides. Just a hint, if someone here does like anime but have not tried manga : try. It's all new experience! And if you do, please try it in "original format" (right to left). I don't know does it bother anyone else but I find it really annoying when everyone is left-handed and every scene is "mirrored". It's far more effective too when read right to left (I know this might sound silly but it really is!)

Yeah... Anime and manga are good!

u need to see Berserk!!! 8)

My alltime favourites are Cowboy Bebop (as you might tell); INSERT INTO yabbse_messages (ID_MSG, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, subject, posterName, posterEmail, posterTime, posterIP, smiliesEnabled, modifiedTime, modifiedName, body, icon, attachmentSize, attachmentFilename) VALUES Escaflowne and Berserk.

You should also try some more Ghibli Movies, like Nausicaa and Laputa.

Battle Royale is good japanese film (Beat Takeshi have such Charisma!). If someone wants to see one really weird but ok film try
"Looking for Mr Perfect"
I've warned you... It's fun and really, really insane! It's not japanese but speaking of odd movies from east... It took me sometime to "get into" the world of the movie and it's atmosphere but after that it was really great!

Impressive list Skvate! Some classics in there.
But Jpkwolf - you know what ur talking about. Trigun and Excel Saga is all you need!

Other ones i'd advise to look for: X (tv and movie); INSERT INTO yabbse_messages (ID_MSG, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, subject, posterName, posterEmail, posterTime, posterIP, smiliesEnabled, modifiedTime, modifiedName, body, icon, attachmentSize, attachmentFilename) VALUES Ah! My Goddess is great and if your into depression go for Kanon. Plus, yopu need to get yourself one of the .hack series. (.hack//sign, .hack//dusk, .hack//twilight)

The new Battle Royale is a return to the island. The kids are paired up so that if one dies the other's head blows thanks to the collar. I know this cos i watch something live from japan a while back. Bloodangel (if he ever comes on) knows more cos h has it.

But for serious japanese headf**k, i recommend Ichi the Killer (both live-action and animated). The storyline makes no sense but its about sadomasochism and a few people get chopped up ;)

In the far future look out for Bakuretsu Tenshi (futuristic western) and Galaxy Angel (funny space saga)

If some of you animejunkies have not seen Spirited Away... I recommend it from bottom of my heart. It is not children's movie, not at all. It's weird, mad, fun and... it's absolutely fabulous. Definetly one of the best movies I've ever seen! Just saw it today and I think I rake rerun some day soon. I bought it on DVD some two months ago and did not have time to see it until today. It was my bad. And I repent it. Must watch more anime... Soon!

My favorite anime-series so far is "Berserk"...ive changed my avatar accoringly ;)
The anime series only goes to volume 14 or so of the Manga series...and the Manga series has reached volume 27 now....and the Manga is more detailed and generally better than the anime.
