« on: June 05, 2007, 01:08:46 am »
Heya guys, whell, the thing is this.
using a DSP/Effect Plug-In in winamp you can hear some strange voices in masu song.
How to try?
1st: Download the DSP here: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/54368
Configure winamp to use it.
And later you tell me =P.

Player One got a wonderfull voice behind the "FRONT" chanel.

It's very cool. I tried it with Player One first. It's cool to hear the guitar and the backing vocals so clearly. The problem is though that it also removes a lot of the Sid. Can't have everything I guess.

Try it on Sidstyler. There it removes the lead guitar too, leaving everything else intact. Very interesting.

ooh yeah in Insidious i can hear Erica's backing voice clear as day for the "I wonder if you know" & "Nocturnal fiends and all that be..." ...and damn does she sound good! ;D ... hmm it kills her in Flagcarrier but Rob sounds has  some nice parts.

-edit- oh oh and in Tempus Fugit is pretty cool... Throttle and Mask too... Blind Dog Pride aswell.

-edit- Kaori Stomp Rob sounds cool and i think i love whats going on in under all the little and main solo parts!

I used it as what it is, a vocal remover, and Dreadnaught and Killer Instinct were almost flawlessly instrumentalized.

--Dreadnaught: You can still hear vocals it during parts of the chorus, though it's considerably lower.
--Killer Instinct: The vocals are completely removed, apart from the chorus, which is still toned down. Also, some of the SID is missing.
--Throttle and Mask: Another near-flawless instrumentalization. Even the radio chatter in the opening is gone, though the SID in some parts is messed up. You can still clearly hear the "But what I got was more than I - ever - wished for" part. The best part about it is that the backing guitar is very clearly audible, much more so than in the original.
--Return to Snake Mountain: It doesn't have any real artifacts, apart from the whisperized vocals. The drums are also slightly quieter.

---And pretty much every song on Redeemer except Empire was jacked up in the face.
