The instrument is an Arpeggio synth from the Sidstation.
It uses 2 or more notes and quickly jumps between them. hence the arpeggio name

So anyway, its probably very hard to tab it out since its probably 3 notes playing simultaneously

Usually arpeggiators jump from one note to the same note on the octave higher or lower. So far I've never seen them jump from only a few steps...

But this time it's not an arpeggiator, it's a Gate, I'm pretty sure.

No it is an arpeggiator. I got the instrument myself.....
If youve never seen an arpeggiator work like that, youve never worked with SID :)

Not too sure. If he's really using an arpeggiator, shouldn't the gap between notes be constant? If so, his version is incorrect..

No the gap doesnt need to be constant when using the arpeggio synth
I use it myself all the time.
