I thought it was from the morally wrong things, building ray guns is just fun ^^
But if one day we meet together while I'm drunk, I promise you to draw a big group sex picture including a lot of forumites. :D

All this new technology shit is useless unless it is somehow helping people invent the hoverboard and/or X-Wing.

So far, the future has been a bitter, bitter disapointment

Where's my Smash TV games show, and Robotech mech?

How do they generate the power for the field/beam/whichever, though (or, does it even need power)? I've seen articles mentioning both walking into somewhere (like Sirix said) and bringing it with you to power your iPod.

Either way, MIT is awesome. Their April Fool's Day pranks are great.
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

Indeed. I want my starships, matter-energy conversion (transportation, replicators), sexy alien chicks and red uniforms so I can die on an away mission. :(

Lets send this to an exam board and let them turn it into an exam question and we'll get nations of 16 year olds to discover the answer!
