Bring back 'real PC gaming' already, things seem to be getting more console-ish by the moment (although i feel some games originally on console are far better on PC)

Failing that, make me a full length Deus Ex 1 mod!

word.

the whole post actually, but that especially.

Deus Ex Nameless Mod is shaping up to be really awesome.

I mean, it had better, after like 8 years of development.

So, 5 new gameplay videos released recently.

I don't care if it might not be 100% true to the Fallout series, I don't care about concerns that it might be a combat-oriented game because as long as you can PICK-POCKET PEOPLE AND PLACE LIVE GRENADES IN THEIR INVENTORY, I'M GONNA FUCKING LOVE THAT GAME! Also, BLOWING UP AN ENTIRE TOWN WITH AN ATOMIC BOMB? FUCK YEAH! And then there's what looks to be an interesting hacking and lockpicking system to boot.

*ahem*

Playing it now. It simply rocks. The atmosphere is just fscking awesome, the rest just keeps it that way.

I do so envy you. My system might run it and I will definitely buy it at some point... If my system won't run it I will show it some axe, some tricks, some new parts and make it run it.

Not sounding good from the first 'review' nor friends who downloaded it already:

I'm leaning on pass unless magicman can say something positive after giving it a go.

Well, it certainly is more shooting than role playing. It ain't old fallouts, it's kinda action-adventure thingy now. Let me put it that way - it's post-apocalyptic Oblivion with guns. And mutants. And other fallouty thingies.

Well, fuck that shit.
Why can't they make proper RPGs anymore? Only Bioware seem to do that nowadays, and they too are slowly creeping toward the "less story yumminess, more guns/swords" side.
