I was pretty stoked to begin with, but this was a definite bright spot of this past week. One more installment in my daily webtrotting for a while! i wish they'd give a specific date though.

Now, why would they have this guy..

Yasunori Mitsuda
(PROCYON STUDIO CO., LTD.)   CHRONO TRIGGER / XENOGEARS

Unless it's related to something they've not told us yet?

i'd have a god damn orgasm in my liver if someone from Chrono Trigger was in Smash Bros Brawl.

but they do, indeed, have an amazing team of music composers.
it's going to be something to remember.

also: I have the Super Smash Bros Melee Orchestra that I got for free in a copy of Nintendo Power years ago.
I have it ripped into mp3 and labeled all pretty.  It's fantastic and if anyone wants any of it, just let me know.

Pit looks like a pretty good character in this. I have to admit I was hesitant at first.

I lost the slip case, now it's all scratched.  :(

I'm still wary of Solid Snake... it's neat that they have him in there, but I don't think he'll be implemented very well.
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

I've seen this, but nothing else. If you know of any you think I should see, I'd be glad to look. From that... I dunno. I can't help thinking he's going to be kind of a boring character, if only because he's so "realistic" in his games. Kirby can swallow things, Pikachu shoots electricity, and Snake... knows karate.  :P

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html

that site has both trailers.

but, really, do you think they'd put him in just for gimmick's purpose?
they're going to make him a good a character as every other Smash Brothers character.

No, of course not. I think they genuinely want to make him work. I just don't think they will.  :-X

I looked on the page, though, and I can't find them. If you mean the characters page, he's not on there yet.

on the main page there are 2 links for videos.
here is 1 and here is 2

they don't have him in the character's page yet.
they're re-releasing everything 1 at at time with specific details about each of them.

I've seen those already. Only one of them shows him fighting.  :P I was hoping you had seen some neat Japanese video or something. I'M DISAPPOINTED.
