I just reverted my working space back to North American Standard 2 and fiddles a bit with my saving options (disable compensation etc. etc.)

Is it fixed? Is it a possibility that it may be a problem with your settings on 'Save For Web & Devices'?

Nope it is still a problem, and it doesn't seem to be a saving issue, photoshop itself seems to lighten every image i open into it or create in it.
Sorry, I don't know photoshop, but...

Have you tried fiddling with the "monitor gamma" knobs of photoshop, if there are any?
Image editing programs sometimes use there own gamma settings, but most of the programs that just display images (like a web browser) don't apply any gamma correction... so turning your photoshop gamma to 1.0 should be okay if you want to make pictures that will be mainly displayed in a web browser...

Good point actually, I do recall something about gamma and monitor settings in PS. I may be confusing it with Adobe Gamma though, which is an Adobe programme to edit the overall gamma of your monitor.. Huh.

Personally I'm too lazy to open up my PS and look for you, but have a fiddle. You may find something in settings.

Its never too late to get started :P

I have tried to get alot of people into graphics design, but many of them stopped :(

I still need to try and get some people's visual interpretations of Overworld songs so I can make some new ones.

If I had PS, I would definitely use it often and try to learn as much as I possibly could about how to use it ^^
I'm not sure of what I have in mind regarding Overworld signatures...
but I'll think about it and if I come up with something, I'll let you know!  :)

Awesome sigs! All of them, I really liked the elite one, but then I'm also a huge SC fan, so that might be a part of the reason. :)

Now I'm kind of inspired to make my own sigs... All I reallyneed to do is find som nice renders.. Though I probably won't get further than that since I'm a little bit too picky... :P

I would love a signature with Muckwuddly! If you could do that, I guarantee a place in the government when Muckwuddly has taken over the world! ;)
