Speaking of Conan... did you know that when Robert E. Howard wrote the first Conan-stories he actually thought Conan was standing behind him with a raised sword forcing him to write his story? Talk about issues...

Yeah, but we have to remember that he ended up to shoot his brains out after his mother died. His works are legendary (he wrote some horror stories too) and he was really good author. Too bad that we lost him and HP too soon... They would have so much to give if they would have lived another 40+ years...

Personally I think the first Conan movie is the best he's done tho... and one of the best fantasy-movies around... not that that says alot most of them suck :(
The second Conan movie with arnie on the other hand is no masterpiece..

Books are ok, comics are ok... They are barbarian entertainment on it's best. Both of the movies are on my DVD-collection although second one is not good one... First one have something similar in spirit with books and comics, thou. Maybe that's why I liked it.
