A City for the TRUE MaSu fans!
« on: May 07, 2007, 04:08:36 pm »
Greetings, earthlings!

I Haven't posted here before so first a short introduction of myself:
I'm a 24y/o Masu fan from Finland, listened since winter 2000.
(Eventhought I haven't posted earlier, I have been reading the forum on daily basis.)

And now I'll give you guys something to chew on:

I live in city called Hyvinkää, and this is the place where true MaSu fans shall dwell.
We don't only buy records and go to see the gigs; We also build churches for the band!

See for yourself!

Here's the top banner of our church's magazine:

Kinda freaky, eh?  ;) Although the logo is a mirror image.

Here's an actual photo of the building:

P.S. Thanks to Mumppis for the great shirt. Will carry it with pride. All hail Mumppis. All hail MaSu!

That's all for now. End of transmission . . .

I think I've found my new place of worship.
(i) There will come a day when nothing you did matters. But it is not today. Here and now, you are alive.
(ii) Live well under your own authority.
(iii) Abolishing suffering is impossible. Lessening suffering is mandatory.

Welcome, guy-with-the-awesome-church. Enjoy your stay and watch out for the people telling you to watch out for somebody. They tend to eat you if you get too close.

Starting second transmission . . .

Here's some more information about the structure on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyvink%C3%A4%C3%A4_church

Wikipedia's finnish article on the building says that it's forms are all triangles to respect the Holy Trinity.

btw. I don't go to the church much but it still looks kinda cool!  8)

Yukka, you're quite into the whole robot roleplaying aren't you ?

The masu logo is different, mirrored, but yeah, looks awfully lot like it..

Nope. Actually I don't like robot roleplaying. I was just a bit too tired yesterday  :)
And I wasn't even drunk!  :o Mmm.. Now I'd really like to have one in my local pub...

Woohoo!

Thank you! Now I really gotta have a party tonight...  ;D

How do people actually get karma points? Can I give them to people?  ???

You can applaud or smite people. Applaud gives one karma point and smite takes away one karma point. That's why some even have negative karma points. Some people are really karma orientated (striving for getting as much karma as possible - or trying to get it as low as possible) but generally they are not that important. Couple of guys could get someone's karma real high or low just in the matter of days (in month one person can give or take away 60 karma points/ forumer as it takes 12 hours before you can repeat your action). You can applaud or smite when you reach certain post count (I don't recall exact count, thou). If you're active forumer you get that certain amount of posts quite soon. So don't worry and don't hurry, just relax and enjoy your stay... All comes to him who waits.

Oh, hey cool. Geif free karma, I live in Hyvinkää too! :<

Never noticed the structure looks so much like the MaSu logo. :p Although, it looks like that from the "behind" (as in, not from the street), doesn't it? Haven't been to that side of the building many times, that's my excuse anyways... :P

But yah, seeing our newer church in a totally different light now. :p
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21...

Spiral out, keep going
