The Wired
« on: January 05, 2004, 10:36:09 am »
I found this site off of a random posting on another board, and I really liked the fact that The Wired is all about my favorite Anime of all time, Serial Experiments Lain.

I've really enjoyed all I've heard so far!

Also: Is Masquerade about Vampire: The Masquerade?  I have a strong feeling it is.

I didn't even know, that The Wired is about an Anime  ;D
I don't think Masquerade is about that Vampire game. Not all songs have to belong  to special movies or games ^^

The Wired is (very) inspired by Lain, yes... But masquerade has no real connection to Vampire: The Masquerade... But I agree some of the words could be interpreted as the being about the covert power struggle and some other elements of the RPG, no doubt about it.

Serial Experiment Lain is some of the best anime I've ever seen! I've also thought alot about The Wired being inspired by Lain, but I've always thought something like "Naah, that can't possibly be. But... naah, I'm wrong. But it would be cool if..." and so forth.  ;D

The Wired is one of my favourite songs with Machinae. Winterstorm is the other..

Aye, Winterstorm is still ruling as my favorite.
And not just because I like winter! :)

I like winter...

... but I use to listen to Winterstorm in the summer, the autumn, the spring and the winter!  ;D

It's a great song, I love it.

I should watch more anime.
I liked ghost in a(the?) shell and Evangelion and Bubble gum Crised and Gunsmith Cats and Techno man.

What is that series one, its very old, about 15> years old. About a flying machine that could turn into a robot. I'll remember it. (I don't thinks its akira ) . They made a movie(s) and series of them (no techno man although along the same lines)

Yeah, I love anime!  ;D
Ghost in the Shell? Yeah, it's ok. Not what I had hoped for, but...
However, I don't like Evangelion. Bubble gum Crisis and the other two you mention are cool!  :D

I believe that you mean Robotech. It's a great series, Evangelion has ripped its whole concept from Robotech. I really liked Robotech when I was little.. I think it was the first anime I ever saw.
 ;)
