Have you actually taken the time to listen to their music, or did you just go by everyone else's definitions?

I don't think he even read most of the thread.
That's the problem with heroes, really. Their only purpose in life is to thwart others. They make no plans, develop no strategies. They react instead of act. Without villains, heroes would stagnate. Without heroes, villains would be running the world. Heroes have morals. Villains have work ethic.

I'm actually suprised the majority of this forum likes Linkin Park. They are quite a touchy subject, really. The band themselves cant even decide what genre they are. They seem to be going in all directions at once and a lot of people hate what they've been doing.

Good on you forums! *pats forum's back* Good on you for remembering LP's good old songs rather than their dodgy hip-hop and whole remix-ey period, because imo that was a load of shite.

Linkin Park will always have a special place in my heart as they were the first band I ever listened to and loved. Back when I was an angsty 12 year old I would listen to their music over and over...
What meaning has my life that the inevitability of death cannot destroy it?

Lets scream about how much living in the 'burbs (slang for suburbs) is awful and how much life sucks. Yeah. We're Linkin Park and obviously we're good because we yell and play guitars loudly. YEAH!
Actually, all the musicians are quite skillful.

Indeed. Hahn is a legend, Chester may sound like a nerd but his screams are awesome. Brad is also damn good at guitar, and has a 'fro that would make a black man turn green with jealousy. Erm, the rest are good too. XD

My first was Evanescence. >>; Blame my then-girlfriend.

Linkin Park was up there, though. I remember listening to Papercut on my walkman in the backseat of the car one summer night while it was changing from dusk to twilight. Ahh, the memories.

How did you know? That's just freaky. Get out of my head, demon, lest ye be justly exorcised.
