edit: Also: someone should decode the binary on the CD.

Use this machine to do it: Binary converter

i'm typing it all in and hitting "convert from binary to text" but... where are results supposed to be shown? because I get nothing.

Well, it was supposed to be shown above the blue box, but I just tested it and got nothing as well. Weird.

It's nice to figure stuff out for yourself sometimes ;<
But if one day we meet together while I'm drunk, I promise you to draw a big group sex picture including a lot of forumites. :D

I just listened to it for the first time and I am a little underwhelmed. I'm gonna give it another try when I finish my essay. I don't think it's good studying music...

arrr! I found the experience much better on headphones, as well.
after listening to the album 5-6 times as a whole now I must say I am impressed, while the first time I only liked 3-4 tracks.
the entire album flows smoothly and most of the songs are great one they sink in.  The ones that aren't that fantastic are very nice transitions...
thumbs up ;)

So has anyone else followed the Year Zero hidden clues yet?

there is, of course, the www.exterminal.net that comes from decoding the binary on the disc once it changes to white
via heat.

before year zero was released there were t-shirts being given out that had words on the back only noticeable in a strong light.
"I am trying to believe"
someone tried "www.iamtryingtobelieve.com".
sure enough, there's something there.

but there's more.
If you look at your booklet and very carefuly examine the top left corner of the cover, you'll see a word etched there.
"the mailstrom"
www.themailstrom.com is another site.

the last one I know about is my favourite.
while flipping through your booklet, noticed how the song title names have a blurred double of themselves? for effect, it seems.
but then "another version of the truth" is in the booklet.  Seems out of place, since there are no lyrics.
if you look closely there is, instead of "another version of the truth" blurred in the back of the song title, a website.
http://www.anotherversionofthetruth.com

I won't tell any of you what's on the websites.
but there -is- something about that last one that you have to figure out.
hint: check out the source code if you know HTML at all.

good luck ;D
